there are so many articles discussed in terms of lithium ion battery discharge performance.

here let's talk about charge condition has what kind of affection on lithium ion battery?


Capacity increasing greatly. take 103450 7.4v 1800mah lithium ion battery for example, several years before, NCM battery is not that widely spread on portable device. more as we know is LCO battery. at that time, LCO 103450 battery power is about 1000mah-1500mah or so. now it's 1800mah.


what's the charging condtion affection on NCM rechargeable li ion battery?

lithium ion battery charging voltage is in proportion to li ions quantities drops from anode polarity.

that means, if you using much more high voltage to charge the lithium ion battery, it will be more fast, but with more li ions fells, comb structure will be corroded by electrolyte. then cyclelife will be reduced.

for example, 7.4v li ion battery charging voltage is generally using 8.4v, if use any higher voltage than 8.4v to charge 7.4v li ion battery, that will make damage to the battery accordingly. 


therefore, when you are intending to use 7.4v 1800mah rechargeable li ion battery, please remember to choose NCM rechargeable li ion battery. charging voltage make sure no more than 8.4v.
